Some babblers

"How do I like living an American dream? Isn't that the thing, where you go to work from 8 to 4 and save for your retriement days, so you can travel and start enjoy your life? No. I ain't living that shit. My brother does, I live rock and roll; I live how the damn I please, not worrying about tomorrow"

Hysteria

Eddy Savage - singer, guitar | Ändi Guns - lead guitar | Trevor the D. - bass | T.G. - drums

The band was formed in 1984 by four friends from the area of Queens, NY. Hysteria had it's own, unique hard rock style with mix of punk and glam rock from the beginning. There has not been major changes inside the band, only former guitarist Elliot has left, and that's when Ändi came in.

In the beginning Hysteria relased some EP's with horrible sound and with almost none mixing. But they were on the road all the time, letting people know that this band knew how to perform live. And hell how they toured; on the road all the time. All that paid off eventually. Before they even managed to relase any full albums, the gang was booked onto major festivals in United States. Soon after first album Europe got interested in them. Hysteria got even a change to support Kiss on six stadium concerts. That's when drugs started to be a big thing inside the band. As well groupies. Damn those cute baby-face boys got girls where ever they went.

Whole band was deep in alcohol and some drugs. That was not good for guitarist, Terry, who has found his faith in the Bible. The year was 1988, and band went through a change with their guitarist, getting this almost 20 years old Scandinavian virtuoso Ändi on the gang. And no changes has happened ever since. They've had their ups and downs, losing nerves with each other, but a band is like marriage; if the'res something wrong, fix it, don't loose it.

Early 90's were great times for the four guys; lots of gigs and records sold millions. Even the wave of grunge didn't stop these guys to get on top of the world. And as told, drugs and stuff were in a great part of the bands life. The new millenium took the whole group onto rehab and some time-off from band. There was a whole year, where none of those four guys didn't even see each other, only some phone calls. That break sure did some magic for them and their lives. By their next album, there wouldn't be anyone that wouldn't known Hysteria.

Nowadays the band is in better shape than ever. Rock and roll keeps you yong, as the phrase goes. Touring is still important these guys, who love to play live. Now they just don't make as long tours as years ago. With families back in home, it's hard time to be on road 300 days a year. Promises are, when a new album comes out, there will be one of the massivest tour Hysteria has done in ten years.
